With the calm water, rocky shoreline, driftwood-covered beach, and sweeping views of the San Juan Islands, Chuckanut Drive is one of my favorite locations for family photography in Bellingham. Rather than focusing on posed portraits alone, we spent time exploring the shoreline, looking out across the water, climbing rocks, and simply enjoying a beautiful summer afternoon together.
